Librarian Learning Community Mtg - 10/29/07
30 October 2007Yesterday, the CPS Virtual Librarian Learning Community held its first meeting of the school year on the top of our temporary offices in Songnisan. Five of us gathered to discuss the new AASL Standards for the 21st Century Learner. (See http://www.ala.org/ala/aasl/aaslproftools/learningstandards/standards.cfm) In this meeting, we focused our comments on reactions to the Nine Foundational Common Beliefs. Our next meeting will be on Monday, November 19th at 8pm - 9pm CT. We will discuss standard #1 - “inquire, think critically, gain knowledge”.
